Portrait Sessions

The experience

A portrait session with me is not about standing still and smiling at a camera. It starts with a conversation about how you see yourself, what you want the images to say, and the mood you want to capture. That shapes everything that follows.

We shoot naturally. I work with whichever light suits the moment, soft and diffused for intimacy or dramatic and directional for an editorial feel. The lighting serves you, never overpowers you. I guide posture and expression with confidence, but leave room for spontaneity. The best moments often slip in between poses: a laugh, a quiet pause, an unguarded look.

Comfort comes first. I build rapport before we begin. If you are nervous, we slow down. If you have a clear vision, we move with your energy. The finished images are edited with restraint and care: rich tone, clean skin, and expression over retouching. Whether a personal portrait, a headshot, or a fine-art session, the goal is the same: images that look like you at your best, authentic and alive.
